Newcastle 3 Charlton 1

God scores again:how would we manage without him

Newcastle kept up their good run of results at St. James Park with a win over Charlton. The first half performance was faultless and we survived by the width of the post (twice) in the second half when Charlton upped their game for 10-15 minutes. Match report here.
Another 2 goals for God puts him on 19 league goals for the season,2 behind Terry Henry. After the game God confirmed he will be retiring at the end of next season. He could give us 10 years notice to quit and we still would never find a replacement. He is irreplaceable. There are a few strikers in the world who could do his job,but would they come to Newcastle for any amount of money?
