- United told to 'pay back loyal fans'. A council chief has sparked a row with football club bosses after challenging them to get more involved with the local community. Coun Arnold said Newcastle manager Graeme Souness and chairman Freddy Shepherd should back his idea of a sports development project in the city to "put something back into the community". Once again Councillors are talking out of their @rse and trying to latch on to the recent public resentment at the latest goings-ons at Circus St. James. Then again i think he may have missed his chance to capitalise on said feelings as Newcastle have now won their last 3 games in a row and there does'nt seem to be too many people grumbling loudly now, barely a murmur to be precise. Amazing what a few wins can do for the city.
- God:Good times around the corner. See.
- Elliott throws down the gauntlet. Welcome back Robbie.
- Bellamy prepared to play anywhere in effort to help Souness.
- Alan Smith calls us irrelevant. That would be the same Alan Smith who used to kiss his leeds badge all the time and said he would NEVER play for Man Ure. Tosser. howaythetoon.com have an interesting piece on the subject
- Robert is United's goal-den boy as he walked off with the goal of the season gong at last night's Prince's Trust North East Football Awards. Shame he could'nt get a few this season as him and God are in my Fantasy Football team over at the BBC and i'm rooted to the bottom of the NewLinks League. Please
