Before we start I thought I'd share this little story with you..
My main television finally broke down last night I can't moan though as I've had it for around 10 years with no problems and how often can you say that with any TV that you buy nowadays? At least it had the decency to die just after I'd finished watching the excellent Planet Earth.
Looking at the new TV's available I did'nt think it was worth buying an HD television yet as it would be wasted on us just for now so we opted for a 28" widescreen which looks amazing but I bet I don't get 10 years out of this one though.
Anyhoo.. to get to the point I brought the other big TV down from my bedroom and put it in the living room as the new TV could take up to 3 weeks to arrive so at least we don't have to watch a portable TV for now. When my 6 year old son woke up this morning he noticed straight away the change in TV's so Mrs ILuvNUFC told him that we needed a new one and while I made his breakfast he disappeared back upstairs to his room and he came back a minute later having emptied his money box and he offered us his total sum of money(£3) towards the cost of buying a new TV and he was disappointed when we would'nt take his cash. God bless his tiny little soul. It almost brought a tear to my eye and once again it made me realise just how lucky we are to have such a kind, thoughtful and caring young son.
I may have terrible health problems but I still consider myself lucky to have such a lovely, caring and thoughtful son who gets all his best attributes from my lovely wife. Indeed the luckiest man in the world to have the two most special people in the world as my wife and son.
