Sir Bobby Robson sacked

It comes as no surprise the news from St. James that Bobby has been sacked. Obviously it had been on the cards for a while now, probably as far back as the end of last season when Fat Freddie started making noises about this being his last season etc. The one thing i can't fathom is why do it now just a few games into the season? Then again, thats Fat Freddie for you. The useless fat ba5tard what he is. Shame WE could'nt sack Fat Freddie!
The whole affair stinks and Bobby should not have been treated this badly. I would like to thank SBR for his time and effort here at St. James and wish him all the best for the future whatever he chooses to do. You would think he would take a bit of a rest, he is well overdue one after 5 years here, never mind the last month here which is detailed in depth by nufc.com. It makes a very interesting re-cap of recent events.

Aston Villa 4 - 2 Newcastle

Full-time Report: Aston Villa 4 - 2 Newcastle. What more can you say about the Toon? They managed to throw away another lead that's just one win in our last eleven league outings.
I blame the strikers, me. Well if we are going to concede 2 or 4 goals nearly every game then we must'nt be scoring enough! ;)
As we all know the Rooney latest i won't bother with any links on the subject of Manyoo's new bid but i do have one thing to say on the subject. That is Manyoo can have him. I'm not denying how good he is but 25M is a joke for an 18 year old with promise. The likes of Fowler and Smith have both been sold this summer for 7-8M, and Rooney is worth all that money? My arse, as they say in Manchester. There has been very little sense spoken on the subject, from what i have read anyway, apart from manchesteronline who seem to have hit the nail on the head.
I think Fat Freddie should concentrate on signing a central defender considering these two bids have been knocked back. I think we may struggle to bring anyone in on time.

On a lighter note, apparently we are favourites for the UEFA Cup. HAHAHAHA. Please don't make me laugh as my back is killing me and it hurts to laugh.

Black & White & Read All Over

A couple of Blogs that i read have moved their Toon coverage to a new site. Black & White & Read All Over has just started but it should have plenty of content soon if i know Newcastle.

Look At This...

There has been a couple of changes round here recently so it's probably a good time to re-cap.
The "search this site" button has gone from the sidebar and it is now at the top of the page.
You can also click the date above the posts for a "on this day" to find out what happened, who was born or who died etc on this day. Thanks to mmChronic at NewLinks for the "on this day" thingy. If you want to add it to your blog go here to find out how.
I'm also thinking of putting up a wallpaper every day for your PC. If you are interested please let me know what type of wallpapers you want to see eg cars, celebrities, game, landscapes, girls etc. Post a comment or mail me on the address in the top right.
Finally, another plug for the other site i post at, NewLinks, go there now. It's great.

20M not a penny more. Newcastle make a bid for Wayne Rooney.

Magpies deny Rooney conspiracy. Sounds about right to me. We sell one of the best centre-half's in the world then try to buy a striker!

Toon v Mackems

A little something to cheer the Toon lads up after the week that we have had to endure. Mackems - A video from toongoals featuring highlights of our battles with the great unwashed. The video is only up for a short while, all will be explained on the site

Newcastle 0-1 Tottenham

Once again, Newcastle make another dismal start to a new season. Newcastle 0-1 Tottenham ends another stressful week in Toon.

However much Newcastle got from the sale of Woodgate, Fat Fred has plans for it that Bobboy Robson does'nt know about. Sounds about right to me as we all know who is in charge of buying and selling at St. James. Bobby wanted Beattie so Fat Fred bought Kluivert and Bobby wanted Trabelsi and Fat Fred bought Carr for that position. I expect to see Bobby leaving soon as i'm not sure what his role is now. The gap at the top widened further today when Bobby was quoted in The People saying I warned Shepherd not to sell.

We'll spend the money wisely from Woody sale says Fat Fred. I'm sure he means HE will spend wisely.

In other toon news howaythetoon.com has a round up of rumours from today's rags.

Puzzle over whirlwind Woodgate

I promise this will be the last Woodgate story i bring you. The whole sorry saga leaves a hell of a lot of unanswered questions and has left another nasty taste in my mouth. I say another because you get them all the time when you love Newcastle.

Real Madrid claim the deal is only £9.5M and the rest will be made up on appearances so if he does'nt play much for them then that means Newcastle have actually lost money on the deal when you take into account his wages while he was here. Another question is why when Arsenal and Manyoo came sniffing for him in january they were quoted £50M by Fat Fred, why the sudden price drop?

These subjects/questions and more are brought up in this article.

This has got to be Newcastle's biggest step backwards in recent memory and without the likes of Woodgate we don't have a hope in hell of winning anything this season or ever, probably. I have loved United for 25 years now and i can honestly say he is the best defender we have ever had in that time, probably the best defender ever!

"We are not a selling club" - are Fat Fred's words.

"Fsckoff, you liar" are mine
