Toon news

- United told to 'pay back loyal fans'. A council chief has sparked a row with football club bosses after challenging them to get more involved with the local community. Coun Arnold said Newcastle manager Graeme Souness and chairman Freddy Shepherd should back his idea of a sports development project in the city to "put something back into the community". Once again Councillors are talking out of their @rse and trying to latch on to the recent public resentment at the latest goings-ons at Circus St. James. Then again i think he may have missed his chance to capitalise on said feelings as Newcastle have now won their last 3 games in a row and there does'nt seem to be too many people grumbling loudly now, barely a murmur to be precise. Amazing what a few wins can do for the city.

Stupid Mackems part 184372346

Chris Brown made a controversial return to the Sunderland side last night in their cup tie with the mighty Crewe. The 19-year-old was suspended earlier this month after being cautioned by police in relation to a airgun offence on Queerside.

Souness new Toon manager

Gordon Bennett! Or should i say "fsck me", Fat Freddie really is a big fat idiot. Graeme Bloody Souness. Is he kidding us or what? I had heard his name mentioned recently but i always thought he was the outsider. I never fancied Bruce, O'Dreary or Strachan for the job, but now i do! ic Newcastle - Souness new Toon manager

The one good point i see in GS' appointment is that he might do Kieron Dire in. He deserves a slap that little muppet.
Seriously though i don't agree with his appointment but i do believe the fans should give him a chance as this is what we are stuck with unless someone gets rid of Fat freddie and his uglier sidekick Dougie Hall.
