Newcastle Photos

I found a couple of sites while surfing which have some brilliant photos of Newcastle. The first is Dave Robinsons page which has photos of Yorkshire and the North East but i've only linked to his Newcastle page. There is loads of pictures of our bridges in wallpaper size and bigger. You may have to chop/resize some of them to fit on your desktop.

The other is Old postcards and photographs of Newcastle Upon Tyne. I will let the site describe...

A sepia coloured view of Newcastle in the 1930s and 1940s. As well as postcards, the images are taken from the album "A Souvenir of Newcastle-on-Tyne" from the Dundee based firm of Valentine & Sons (my copy dates from 1939), a 1940s collection of real photographs entitled "Valentine's Snapshots - Newcastle-on-Tyne", and a 1930s album "Newcastle upon Tyne Illustrated" published by Andrew Reid.

If you click "back to the photo gallery" at the bottom of the page there is more newer stuff. Class site.
